Amanda Ritchey, Fall 2005

As an intern at Head Start, Amanda assisted with delivering services to parents and children at Fairview Hills. Much of the work included working with parents and children within the home environment by helping them to establish and work toward goals. A holistic approach was used to provide education and help families work toward goals in areas such as health and nutrition, parenting, employment, education and training, family organization, etc. Amanda also assisted with meeting the needs of the children within the Head Start classroom at Fairview Hills.
