Description of Site: Though the website is not very colorful or interactive it provides information. There are many links to several articles with more material on the topic which is very helpful. This site provides many useful statistics to inform those going through these problems that others also go through the same thing everyday. On the home page there are many tabs that you can click on. There is one that talks about the causes of divorce that someone can click on to find out why some people divorce. There is also a tab called "your chance of getting a divorce" you can click on this and figure out your chance. This is the most helpful resource on this website. There are many tabs to click to find out more information on divorces and there is also a lot of information about rates of divorce in recent years.

Title: Marriage and Divorce
URL (Internet "address"): http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/fastats/divorce.htm
Sponsor: U.S. Department of Health and Human Services
Author/credentials: National Center for Health Statistics
Date posted: February 28, 2006
Description of Site: The site was very colorful with links to more information on the topic. It was helpful and informative and it was easy to tell that the information was credible because the site was a government site. It provides information and statistics on divorce for people who are interested in that. Links provided by the website go to more information on the website and different government websites. This website was less help oriented and more information, facts, and statistics oriented. It does not tell what to do if you are getting divorced or any other information about divorce than current divorce and marriage rates. That would be the most useful information of the site, along with links to other websites that might be helpful for your search.

You can buy books on the topic off the website, join groups for divorce support through the website, and find more information about divorce in the content of the website. It is colorful and fun to look at as well as informative. Links for this site are provided by books written on divorce, excerpts from the Bible, and articles dealing with the topic of divorce. The sources of the links are all divorce help or religious related. Though there are not any charts or video clips on the site, there are clips from books and printable papers about divorce. The best parts of this site would be the information about where to get help and links to find out more about everything. This site is filled with links, and anyone can find what they are looking for if they need help with a divorce. The links and site can help with any situation.

Description of Site: This site is very helpful. It provides a video clip of an introduction to the Institute, printable brochures, and self-evaluations. This site includes a few links to other resources, but many of the links are just linked to more information from the same website. Savemymarriage.com links to this site as well. The evaluations and brochures are very helpful in determining whether or not you really need help. The information is very useful to anyone with divorce or marriage problems. The quizzes and evaluations are probably the most useful things about the site along with the information on books, classes and seminars.
