Let the Pyramid Be Your Guide


Courses Involved: NURS 418 NURS 496 NURS 417
Faculty Involved: Nedra Farcus, R.N.

Six nursing students, Shelia Crusciel, a Registered Dietician, and Home Nursing Agency implemented a 60-minute evening educational program about the new food pyramid for residents at Eleventh Street and Green Avenue Towers. Each resident received an instructional booklet and handouts. Students also presented a poster presentation and an informational booth at the 26th Annual Blair County Senior Health Fair at the Jaffa Mosque in Altoona, PA.
