Welcome

Welcome to the Penn State Altoona Spanish Program with its wide variety of courses taught by active scholars and talented, dedicated professors. Along with the Spanish Minor, the Program sponsors numerous activities that give students opportunities to discover and practice Spanish while learning about the cultures of Spanish-speaking peoples around the world and in the U.S.

Explore this website to learn more about cultural activities, career opportunities, the study abroad program, and courses offered through the Spanish Program at Penn State Altoona. By developing students' language skills and emphasizing cultural understanding through the study of literature, film, art and history, the Spanish Minor has a direct impact on students' future employment opportunities and enriches life's experiences.
