Office:
Rebecca Strzelec is coordinator of Visual Art Studies and an assistant professor of Visual Arts at Penn State Altoona. She received her BFA and MFA in Metals/Jewelry/CAD-CAM from Tyler School of Art, Temple University (2000 and 2002). Her work consists of wearable objects that are created via CAD and Rapid Prototyping. Her latest exhibitions include Alternatives: Materials/Means, Contemporary Studio Jewelry at Rhode Island College's Bannister Gallery and Virtual/Tangible at the Cleveland Institute of Art. She was the 2005 recipient of the Nancy Graves Fellowship at The Millay Colony for the Arts. Strzelec's work can be seen in the recent Lark Books publication 500 Brooches Inspiring Adornments for the Body, Metalsmith Magazine (Fall 2005 and Spring 2006), American Craft Magazine (Dec.2005/Jan. 2006), and the fall 2007 book Body of Art. |

Office:
Nancy Brassington of Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, is an instructor of Visual Arts. She teaches drawing, painting, and introduction to visual studies. Brassington also serves as an instructor for Penn State World Campus, Independent Learning. Her work has recently been exhibited at the ARC Gallery in Chicago, the Lancaster Museum in Lancaster, and The MUSE Gallery in Philadelphia. |

Office:
David Kasdorf, assistant professor of Visual Arts, has had work recently featured in the Residence Gallery in London, and at the Soap Factory in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Forthcoming exhibitions include Open Space Gallery in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, and Living Arts Gallery in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Kasdorf holds a BA from Fresno Pacific College and an MFA from Hunter College. He has been awarded fellowships at both Yaddo and the McDowell Colony. He teaches introductory and intermediate computer graphics, introductory and advanced digital media and drawing at Penn State Altoona. He has served as adjunct faculty at Messiah College, Pennsylvania School of Design, and Penn State University Park. |

Office:
Michael Lucas, associate professor of Visual Arts, received his MFA from Penn State in 1981. His pen and ink drawings have been included in numerous national shows over the past several years, winning several awards such as a purchase award at the Larsen Drawing Bi-annual Austin Peay State University, Clarksville, Tennessee. His most recent work, a wall-size limestone carving, The Byzantine Altarpiece, was exhibited in the Sheetz Gallery in the fall of 2005. |

Office:
Harriet M. Rosenberg, an instructor in Visual Arts, has a B.A. in Music and English from St. Olaf College, and a M.Ed. in Human Development, with additional credits in Theatre Design and Fine Art from Penn State University. She has taught drawing and design at Penn StateAltoona, and is currently teaching the general education "Introduction to the Visual Arts" course. Her primary medium is cut paper but her interests include photography and assemblage. In addition to her university teaching, she is in the public schools as an Artist-in-Residence for the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art, and the CIU 10, and has most recently exhibited and conducted workshops in San Francisco, Minneapolis and International Falls, Minnesota, and Ontario, Canada, in addition to numerous exhibits and workshops in Pennsylvania. Her work is currently on display in the "55408" show at IntermediaArts in Minneapolis. |

Office:
Laurencio Carlos Ruiz is an instructor of Theatre Arts and resident scenic designer at Penn State Altoona. He holds an M.F.A. in Scenic Design from Penn State, and a B.A. in Graphic Design from the UAM of Mexico, where he also studied visual arts and industrial design. His work as a multi-disciplinary artist includes photography, video, installations, performance art, and puppetry. His work has been shown at galleries and museums in Mexico, including the Museum of Modern Art, X-Teresa, and Museo de Arte Contemporaneo Oaxaca, as well as the Randolph Street Gallery and Mexican Fine Art Center in Chicago, the Nexus Art Gallery in Philadelphia, and the Kunst Academie in Dusselford, Germany. He also performed with puppets at the Hemispheric Institute of Performance and Politics at NYU, New York City; He was an invited artist at the Graduate Student Symposium, Tokyo University, Japan. His most recent work includes performing disabilities and new-abilities with newly-able actions figures. |

Office:
William Wellman, part-time lecturer in Art, is a photographer whose work has focused on traditional silver printing and alternative photographic processes. He teaches an appreciation of photography class and digital photography at Penn State Altoona. He also teaches a chemical photography class at Penn State University Park. He has worked as a free-lance photographer since 1980. He has received awards from the National Ilfospeed Print Competition and the Coca-Cola Bottling Company Arts Show. Among other places, his work has been exhibited at the Silver Eye in Pittsburgh, the Allentown Art Museum, the Printing Club of Philadelphia, and the Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans. |

Noel Feeley is currently the Theatre and Gallery Manager at Penn State Altoona. Noel has worked in the Publications Office at the National Gallery of Art, as a grants program specialist for the National Endowment for the Arts, as managing director for the Allegheny Highlands Regional Theatre and as Assistant Director for the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art. She currently serves as Treasurer for the Pennsylvania Rural Arts Alliance Noel is married to J. Randall Miller and has three children. |
