Transfer Students

Are you a transfer student?

A transfer student is a student who has earned a high school diploma or the equivalent and has attempted at least 18 credits at another regionally accredited college or university before enrolling at Penn State. A student who has completed less than 18 semester credits should apply to Penn State as a first year student.

Prospective students who would like to know whether credits earned at another institution are transferable to Penn State are invited to use the on-line course evaluation guide. This guide is also useful to current students who may be considering taking summer classes at another institution.
