I have been in Vienna for three months! It is so hard to believe. Ich liebe Wien.

Most importantly, I have not seen my family in three months! I cannot believe that. Considering I can drive home any weekend when I am at Penn State, this is by far the longest time away from home not to mention the farthest I have been! 

Tonight (your time), my parents are hopping on a plane and flying over the big blue sea to Vienna! I cannot wait. They will be here for Thanksgiving and 7 days total. How wonderful! I am so grateful to have such wonderful parents who make the time to come spend time with me.

We are going tour around Vienna for a week together. I am looking forward to showing them the culture that I have learned so much about and lived in for three months. Tomorrow night, we are going to the Wien Staatsoper to see the opera Die Zauberfloete. The opera will be beautiful, as always! The Wien Staatsoper always delivers.

After my parents leave, I am going skiing in the Alps for the weekend with my program. The following weekend, I am going to Paris with two of my roommates. Then I have one free weekend to study for finals, then I fly back to America. Wow! Time sure does fly.

I love my family and I cannot wait to see my parents tomorrow! And my brothers and sister in four short weeks.
