The recent opening of the renovated Career Services Office symbolized Penn State Altoona’s commitment to offer its students every possible advantage as they embark on career paths that will fulfill lifelong ambitions. The Career Services Office proudly offers a wide array of services that fully prepare students for their search of professional opportunities. During the 2002-2003 academic year, Career Services staff met individually with 723 students and connected with 1,258 students during 68 classroom presentations. |
As business and industry continue to evolve both locally and regionally, it is imperative that employers and educators partner to ensure a viable workforce for our region. Penn State Altoona’s Career Services Office provides career planning resources for students and offers an opportunity to employers to showcase their organizations and connect with future graduates as potential employees.

The Career Services Office, renovated at a cost of $250,000, houses three, private interview rooms for potential employers to meet individually with students, a conference room with multi-media capabilities, career library, offices for three staff members and a spacious reception area.
