Overnight Accommodations
On Campus Accommodations
Anyone wishing to make overnight accommodations on campus may do so by contacting the
Penn State Altoona Housing Office at (814) 949-5713.
FTCAP accommodations in Cedar Hall include air-conditioned suites which have two bedrooms,
a private bath with shower, and a telephone. A common area provides for television viewing
with access to vending machines.
A suite may be reserved for you and members of your family at the following one night rate:

Arrangements should be made by phone at least two weeks in advance of your arrival. A check or money order payable to PSU should be sent to: Penn State Altoona, Dept. of Food & Housing, 3000 Ivyside Drive, Altoona, PA, 16601, Attention: Bonnie. VISA and Mastercard
are also accepted, but all payments are required in full in advance of your arrival.
Check-in time Sunday through Thursday is between 3:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. in Cedar Hall.
Please make every effort to arrive during these hours to secure the keys to your room. Overnight accommodations include a complimentary continental breakfast in Port-Sky Café. Check-out time is 7:30 a.m. at Port-Sky Café.
Off Campus Accommodations
Located on Pleasant Valley Boulevard, off the I99 Plank Road Exit, are a number of hotels, motels, and inns. Restaurant facilities are also located on the boulevard. In the same area are shopping malls, plazas, and theaters for your leisure. A few of the hotels/motels you may wish

Dining
Lunch will be available in Port Sky Cafe on you scheduled FTCAP day at your
own expense. Food can be purchased from an a la carte menu which
includes entrees, desserts and beverages. There are several fast food and family-style restaurants within a mile of the campus.
