Students


Students are encouraged and expected to be prepared to attend their FTCAP day. Students and families attend several sessions throughout the day to learn about the Penn State system. Basic information about placement test results, degrees, general education, technology and more will be discussed in the morning. In the afternoon, students learn basic information about scheduling courses, then schedule classes with the assistance of advisors.

Materials to be brought with you on your FTCAP day are:

  • Photo ID (driver’s license, school ID, passport, etc)
  • Completed general education worksheet (see general education section below)
  • Pencil
