“Wasted Youth”
This video examines the consequences associated with alcohol—from alcohol-related car accidents to sexual assault. Geared to the college student, the video utilizes first-person accounts of the very real tragedies resulting from high-risk drinking. The video is nicely divided into different segments, making it easy to use snippets or the entire program, depending on your goals.
48 Hours: “Binge Drinking on College Campuses”
48 Hours visits Michigan State University and reporters interview students as they tailgate and celebrate post-game. The program also features the story of a student who dies from alcohol poisoning after downing 21 shots on his birthday at a local student bar. The Michigan State segment runs about 15 minutes and is followed by additional stories, including that of a teen alcoholic.
48 Hours: "Ecstasy Use Among College Students"
This new video explores use of this increasingly popular "feel good" drug and its consequences. One particularly startling segment follows the arrest of a college student (an honor student) for dealing the drug.
Choices: "Sexual Health Issues for College Students"
