Mark W. Twardon

Alumni Achievement Award
Recognizes alumni of the college who have distinguished themselves through career achievement, community involvement, and/or involvement with the college.

Twardon was a member of the Penn State Altoona Alumni Society Board of Directors from 1997 to 2004, serving a term as vice-president his final two years. In seven years on the Board, Twardon missed only three of thirty-five meetings. Twardon and his siblings established the William and Lydia Twardon Memorial Award in Creative Arts in memory of their parents. The award provides scholarship support to students participating in activities related to the performing or integrative arts.
