Kids' College 2009

Start planning your summer now! Registration will begin March 1.

Early Bird Discount

Register by April 30, 2009 and receive a 10% discount on your entire bill. All early bird registrations must be in our office or postmarked by April 30, 2009 to receive the discount. Please mark the appropriate box on the registration form.

Early Care and Late Care Programs Available

We are offering early and late care programs for children of working parents. The morning session will run from 7:30-10:00 a.m. and afternoons from 3-5:30 p.m. Supervision of play time, movies, or reading will be provided. The cost is only $18 for the entire week of morning or afternoon sessions or $36 for both sessions. If you want to take advantage of this opportunity, please mark the appropriate column on the class registration schedule when registering your child for the camps.

Lunch Hour

Bring a brown bag lunch and register for a morning and afternoon camp. We will provide supervision over the lunch hour and escort campers to and from their camps.

Camp Location

All camps are conducted at Penn State Altoona campus unless otherwise marked. Please see each individual registration description to confirm location.

Limited Enrollment

Enrollment in these programs is limited to ensure quality training for each participant. Register early to ensure a place in the session that fits your plans. The University may cancel or postpone any course because of insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. No refunds will be given after class begins.

Adults accompanying children to Kid's College are welcome to pass the time at the Robert E. Eiche Library on campus. Community residents can apply for a library card and select from the book, cd, and video collections. There are also magazines and newspapers to read within the air conditioned library. For younger children, there is a collection of children's books on the first floor of the library and equipment to view videos or listen to music.
