Free showing of "Amistad" tonight!
In conjunction with the ENGL 469 course "Slavery and the Literary Imagination," Penn State Altoona will offer a free showing of Steven Spielberg's award-winning film "Amistad" tonight, Monday, October 5, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. in room 150 of the Hawthorn building. The movie features performances by Djimon Hounsou, Morgan Freeman, Anthony Hopkins, and Matthew McConaughey. The screening is free and open to the public.
