The Penn State Altoona Physics Department has a superb lab area (in Holtzinger Building) in which faculty pursue collaborative research with undergraduate students.  Our work includes studies in solid state physics, magnetic nanoparticles, and nuclear physics.  The laboratory (in Holtzinger Building) serves four faculty: Drs. Flarend, Resnick, Weisel, and Zimmerman.  Please contact them if you want to learn more about undergraduate physics research at Penn State Altoona.
