What is University Police?
The University Police at the Pennsylvania State University is responsible for the protection of and service to its students, faculty, staff and employees. In addition, University Police is charged with the protection of property and maintenance of order as well as the enforcement of both the laws of the Commonwealth and University regulations. University Police has full law enforcement authority.
University Police employs eight full-time, sworn police service officers. University Police provide protection 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
