Special Presentation
For the last four seasons, the Penn State
Altoona baseball team has featured one of the most unique and inspiring
athletes in the country in 53-year-old John Wilson. Having just
completed his final season of eligibility in 2008, John's story of beating
the odds, overcoming adversity, and inspiring others has been well
documented on a local, regional, and national level. The Pittsburgh
native will graduate in Fall 2008 with a degree in Human Development and
Family Studies. Penn State Altoona Chancellor Dr. Lori J. Bechtel-Wherry
had the plaque above made to commemorate John's outstanding contributions
and accomplishments. |
