ALTOONA, Pa. - Two days after suffering their first home loss of the season, the Penn State Altoona women's basketball team will try to bounce back when non-conference foe Lycoming College comes to the Adler Gym for a 6:00 PM contest Monday night.

The Warriors, which compete in the Commonwealth Conference and boast an 11-5 overall record, own a 6-1 all-time series lead over the Lions.  Lycoming has two players in its projected starting lineup who went to Hollidaysburg High School just minutes from Penn State Altoona's campus. 

The Warriors knocked off AMCC member Frostburg State by 10 points in November before the Lions fell to Frostburg 70-54 on January 14.  Altoona's lone win over Lycoming came way back in 2001 when the school's nickname was the Cougars and assistant coach Kristen Toomey Baker led the team to its first conference championship.
