ALTOONA, Pa. - Women's basketball player Angie Proper (Bellefonte, PA/Bellefonte) and men's basketball player Colin Geiger (Pottstown, PA/Pottsgrove) are the Penn State Altoona Athletes of the Week for the week of February 16-22.

Proper led the Lions in a 1-1 week, scoring double figures in a pair of important Allegney Mountain Collegiate Conference games.  She was the team's high scorer with 11 points against Pitt-Greensburg and hit three 3-pointers.  She was one of four players in double figures against Mount Aloysius, netting 12 of her 14 points in the first half, and canned another three treys.

Geiger scored 19 points on 8-of-16 shooting in a victory over Pitt-Greensburg, then scored 18 on 8-for-15 shooting against Mount Aloysius.  He also shot 40% from 3-point range and is averaging 15.2 points on the season.
