ALTOONA, Pa. - Men's tennis player Scott Pickrell (Altoona, PA/Altoona) and softball player Erin Cline (Murrysville, PA/Franklin Regional) are the Penn State Altoona Athletes of the Week for the week of April 6-12.

Pickrell led the Lions to a pair of wins over Pitt-Bradford and Waynesburg, winning all four matches in which he played.  The freshman teamed with Kyle Yerty (Roaring Spring, PA/Central) to win both number two doubles flights and cruised to a pair of singles wins at the number three spot.

Cline hit .400 in five games for the Lions and blasted two home runs to go along with seven RBI.  The freshman, who also hit a triple, boasted an incredible .933 slugging percentage for the week.  On the season, Cline is hitting .361 with 26 RBI and six home runs.

The next Penn State Altoona Athletes of the Week will be announced on Monday, April 20.
