PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Penn State Altoona men's tennis player Kyle Yerty (Roaring Spring, PA/Central) was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Player of the Week for the week of April 13, the league office announced Monday.

Yerty remained undefeated in singles matches with victories at #4 singles against Pitt-Bradford and Waynesburg.  He also teamed with Scott Pickrell (Altoona, PA/Altoona) to win both #2 doubles flights against the same schools.

Penn State Altoona is 8-2 on the season and 5-2 in the AMCC.  This is Yerty's second straight Player of the Week selection after winning the honor on April 6.
