FROSTBURG, Md. - The Penn State Altoona women's soccer team took an early lead but couldn't hang on, losing to Frostburg State 3-1 on Tuesday.

Helena Tinnyo (Mechanicsburg, PA/Cumberland Valley) scored on an assist from Emily Reimold (Shrewsbury, PA/Susquehannock) 8:27 into the game to give the Lady Lions a 1-0 lead.

But Frostburg tied the score 14 minutes later on Lauren Russell's goal. Amanda Wharton added a first half goal to put Frostburg up 2-1 before Lauren Lentine's score in the second half handed the Lady Lions a 3-1 defeat.
