ALTOONA, Pa. - Emily Reimold (Shrewsbury, PA/Susquehannock) netted a hat trick and Helena Tinnyo (Mechanicsburg, PA/Cumberland Valley) contributed four assists as the Penn State Altoona women's soccer team defeated Grove City College 6-3 at Spring Run Stadium.

Alyssa Robinson (Clifton, NJ/Clifton) scored the first goal on a header off of a corner kick five minutes into the game to give the Lady Lions a 1-0 lead. Shortly thereafter, Elizabeth Watt (Harleysville, PA/Souderton) scored to give Penn State Altoona an early 2-0 advantage.

Grove City narrowed the gap to 2-1 at the 14:19 mark of the first half when Emily Ostlund scored, but Reimold answered back six minutes later to put Penn State Altoona up 3-1.

Meredith Barcia (New Canaan, CT/New Canaan) added a goal for the Lady Lions a minute before halftime to give her team a 4-1 lead going into the break.

The Lady Wolverines' Elise Bender cut the Penn State Altoona lead in half when she scored early in the second half to make it a 4-2 game.

Reimold again answered back, increasing the Lady Lions' lead to 5-2.

After Grove City's Hannah Yang scored at the 81 minute mark to cut the Penn State Altoona advantage to 5-3, Reimold responded by scoring her third goal of the game to make the score 6-3.
