ALTOONA, Pa. - The Penn State Altoona women's soccer team shut out Mount Aloysius 9-0 on Thursday at Spring Run Stadium.

The Lady Lions produced 30 shots on goal and held the Lady Mounties shotless throughout the duration of the game.

Emily Reimold (Shrewsbury, PA/Susquehannock) and Nikki Supsic (Northumberland, PA/Shikellamy) each scored twice for Penn State Altoona.

First half goals by Danika Mull (Northumberland, PA/Shikellamy), Supsic and Alyssa Robinson (Clifton, NJ/Clifton) put the Lady Lions ahead 3-0 at halftime.

After two Reimold goals and a Supsic score, Penn State Altoona had built a 6-0 lead midway through the second half.

Danielle Esposito (Lansdale, PA/North Penn) scored on a penalty shot at 73:09 of the second half, followed by goals from Ashley Parchment (Tannersville, PA/Pocono Mountain East) and Kaytie Boe (New Alexandria, PA/Greensburg Catholic) which put Penn State Altoona up 9-0.

The shutout win is the Lady Lions' fourth in a row.
