ALTOONA, Pa. - The Penn State Altoona women's volleyball team, clad in pink uniforms on Dig Pink Day, defeated Penn State Behrend 3-2 on Saturday night at the Adler Gym.

The Lady Lions won the first game 25-16 before Behrend tied it at 1-1 by taking the second game 25-18. Penn State Altoona took a 2-1 lead when they won game three 25-19, but Behrend again tied the overall score by winning game four 25-19. But the Lady Lions won the fifth game 15-13 to clinch the victory.

Kelsie Bumbarger (Altoona, PA/Altoona) had 36 set assists, while Abby VanLuvanee (East Lyme, CT/East Lyme) led the team with 14 kills and 14 digs.
