PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Penn State Altoona women's soccer team defeated La Roche College 2-1 on Tuesday -- the first of two times the teams will face each other this week.

With the win, the Lady Lions clinched the fourth seed in the AMCC playoff picture, meaning that they will host La Roche at 12:00 PM on Saturday.

Elizabeth Watt (Harleysville, PA/Souderton) gave Penn State Altoona a 1-0 lead just 37 seconds into the game.

La Roche answered back shortly after halftime, tying the score at 1-1 on Katelyn Gill's score.

But Watt factored into another goal for Penn State Altoona, this time assisting on the game-winner scored by Nikki Supsic (Northumberland, PA/Shikellamy) at 56:44.

Lindsay Raspanti (Fairless Hills, PA/Pennsbury) made four saves to earn the win.
