    Spring Run Stadium

In the fall of 2002 Penn State Altoona opened up its newest addition to the athletic facilities when Spring Run Stadium hosted the first soccer game. Prior to the opening of Spring Run Stadium the soccer team played their home games at Altoona Area School District fields. The field consists of a soccer field surrounded by an eight-lane track. The unique blue surface on the track is the first of its kind in the Penn State system. The track is open to the campus and the community for recreational use when the campus teams are not using the facility. Along with the track and soccer accommodations Spring Run Stadium also has an enclosed press box, a large scoreboard, lights for night games and activities, and bleachers.

Ivyside Athletic Field

Ivyside Athletic Fields are home to the Penn State Altoona baseball and softball teams. The baseball team has enjoyed playing at the campus since the late sixties, though the facilities have been upgraded considerably since those early days. The most recent additions to the baseball field include a new scoreboard and press box that features a concession stand and restrooms. There is also a bullpen area, dugouts, a batting cage and storage sheds. The softball field has enjoyed a home at Ivyside since 2002 and new dugouts were recently added to the facility. Both baseball and softball fields are equipped with lights for night competition. In 1991 six new tennis courts were added to the fields behind Adler Athletic Complex. The courts are home to the men's and women's tennis teams who compete in spring and fall, respectively. These facilities are also equipped with lights and are open to the public when not being used for campus activities.
