Work-Study
Federal Work-Study: Eligibility is based on financial need. Students work when not in class. Money is earned as the student works.
If a student is granted a Federal Work-Study Award, available positions can
be found on eLion under "Work Study Job
Search". The student may contact the supervisor for the position he/she wants and schedule a time to be interviewed. After the student has
accepted a position and has the supervisor sign the Federal Work Study Program Employment Agreement Form
(placement form), the student needs to bring the form to the Student Aid office
for processing. Along with the placement form, the student must bring the
following items before the employment paperwork can be completed:
- A passport OR an original social security card OR original certified copy of
a birth certificate issued by a state, county or municipal authority AND
- A driver's license OR school ID with a photograph OR a voter's registration card
OR a U.S. Military card or draft record AND
- A voided check OR savings account
number and Bank Routing Transit Number (all paychecks must be direct deposit
into a bank account)
