Why would you like to be crowned Homecoming King? I think it is a very
good opportunity to be this years Homecoming King. I have tried my best to
be involved in as many things as possible, but while at the same time having a
high GPA, in engineering this is not easy. But while being stressed out a
lot, I also try to be fun and outgoing as well. I would be honored to be
this year's Homecoming King.
What is it about Penn State
Altoona that you value the most?
I value the friends that I have made the most. |
|
Connor Polcari

Why would you like to be crowned Homecoming Queen? I believe that I
would be able to represent so many things for this school. Things such as
diversity, leadership skills, and more. Being crowned Queen would help
open the eyes of everyone and show that the "stereotypical" girl does not always
win.
What is it about Penn State
Altoona that you value the most?
Penn State Altoona has offered a
humble home away from home. The professors have been supportive of the
transition from high school to college, as well as all the staff. Another
valued factor is the fact that I have never felt discriminated against in any
way here, due to my ethnicity.

Why would you like to be crowned Homecoming Queen? Although I may
not fit the typical image of someone you may expect to have this title, I would
be honored to be our Homecoming Queen! Throughout my four years at
Altoona, I have become very involved in campus life while maintaining a high GPA
and getting to know a wide variety of people. I love being a college
student and I feel that I am a great example of what you might expect.
What is it about Penn State
Altoona that you value the most?
You can't have a campus without the
people! I'm always asked why I chose to stay at Altoona for all 4 years,
and I can think of no better answer than to say "I just love it here!"
This campus feels like home, and everybody feels like family. I can't walk
to class without seeing a few people I know, and there's always someone to hang
out with between classes or eat with at Port-Sky. When I graduate, seeing
my friends everyday will be what I miss the most! |

to meet new people.
What is it about Penn State
Altoona that you value the most?
I value the atmosphere here at Penn
State Altoona. Everyone here is really nice and welcoming. It's a
big change from my high school where no one talks to anyone unless you knew them
from middle school.
